ROUTINE VIEWS:
AP (internal and external)

INCLUDE BOTH JOINTS

AP (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL)
1. 14 x 17 film
2. Bucky, upright or supine
3. 40" SID
4. Rotate affected arm internal and externally.
5. Central Ray: center to mid Humerus

*DO NOT ATTEMPT THESE PROJECTIONS IF PATIENT IS IN SEVERE PAIN.* INSTEAD TAKE AP NEUTRAL AND TRANSTHORACIC LATERAL.
